What is Counselling?
Counselling is a process focusing on the enhancement of psychological well-being.
At PACE Yourself we call our counselling processes ‘Refreshing Your Life’.
PACE advocates Walk and Talk your way to Happiness – taking advantage of the oxygen and negative ions in our amazing world. Walking in parks, by the ocean and smelling the roses. It’s counselling on the move.
Through our journey of childhood, adolescence and adulthood we lose our spontaneity - and the uninhibited individual in which we begin as a new-born.
We take on beliefs’ of others. We are taught to conform and act in certain ways depending on our role models and our individuality becomes more of similarity to others.
This may leave us with unresolved issues. These are like unhealed wounds – they are with us until they are healed. Psychotherapy and Counselling offers the support, confidentiality and therapy to enable healing and resolution.
Through Counselling and the healing process, a more complete and happy person is able to emerge.
